Hi! I’m Justin Chow, a software engineering enthusiast currently studying Informatics at the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS). I’m passionate about building scalable and impactful web applications that make a difference. Over the years, I’ve worked on projects like SPMB Surabaya, a high-traffic official student admission portal across Surabaya, which challenged me to think critically about performance, clean architecture, and user experience.
I specialize in frontend development using tools like Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and TypeScript, and I enjoy bringing intuitive designs to life while collaborating with backend developers and UI/UX teams. I also have experience in backend development, using technologies like Go to build robust APIs and server-side logic that power seamless user experiences.
My experience extends beyond project work. I’ve also served as an assistant lecturer for Linear Algebra and Fundamental Programming, where I helped students grasp complex technical concepts and sharpened my communication and leadership skills.
Outside the classroom, I actively participate in campus organizations such as Schematics ITS, Ini Lho ITS, ITS EXPO and UKM EXPO, where I’ve contributed to web development efforts and code quality improvements. I’m also a proud recipient of the Bakti BCA Scholarship and have earned national-level awards in programming and mathematics. I’m always eager to learn, grow, and contribute to meaningful tech initiatives.

Bakti BCA is a scholarship program that was issued by PT. Bank Central Asia Tbk. I am selected to be one of the 700 students from over 10,000 applicants to receive this scholarship.
Schematics National Programming Contest (Schematics NPC) is a national-level programming competition organized by the Department of Informatics at the Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS). This competition assesses logicalthinking abilities and the capability to analyze algorithms and programming in solving given problems. Participants in Schematics NPC will be challenged to solve a problem by creating a computer program.
Olimpiade Siswa Prestasi Akademik Nasional (OSPAN) is a national competition between more than 2500 students all over Indonesia. I won the gold medal in Mathematics which cover topics such as geometry, algebra, number theory and combinatory.
